Privacy Policy (GDPR)

We value your trust. Below we explain what personal data we process, why we process it, how long we retain it, and what rights you have. We process personal data mainly based on contract performance (membership/registrations), legal obligations and legitimate interests; in some cases based on consent (e.g., marketing, analytics).

2. Scope of Processed Data

We process data you provide through membership or communication:

First and last name
E-mail address and telephone contact
Year of joining and role in the association
Photos and videos from association events
Year and field of study at CZU
Contact details for sport partners (IG/Email)
Feedback and event ratings
Financial data for association accounting purposes
Other data necessary for the association's operations

3. Purpose and Duration of Processing

We process data for member records, account management, event registrations, communication, website security, handling requests and fulfilling the association’s purpose. If you provide consent, we may also use data for marketing purposes (e.g., publishing photos from events).

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose. For member accounts typically for the duration of membership and then for a reasonable period to protect legal claims. Accounting and tax documents are retained according to statutory retention periods.

Google sign-in

If you choose Google sign-in, we share the necessary technical data with the provider (Google) to verify your identity and receive an account identifier and basic profile information according to your account settings. We use this data only for sign-in and account security.

6. Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

Access your data and information about its processing
Correction or completion of inaccurate data
Erasure of data ("right to be forgotten")
Restriction of processing and data portability
Object to processing
File a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection www.uoou.cz
